Solgar ® Folate (as Metafolin ®) 400 µg, the body-ready form of folic acid is a high strength B vitamin and contributes to several processes within the body including homocysteine metabolism, blood formation and reduces tiredness and fatigue.
This important B vitamin also regulates healthy homocysteine levels and contributes to energy levels and general wellbeing.
Homocysteine is an amino acid produced in the body by breaking down proteins we consume and animal-based protein in particular. Typically homocysteine should be converted into the amino acid methionine. This conversion requires folate.
One (1) tablet of Solgar ® Folate (as Metafolin ®) 400 µg will contribute to:
• normal amino acid synthesis
• normal blood formation
• normal homocysteine metabolism
• normal psychological function
• normal function of the immune system
• the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
As a dietary supplement for adults, take one (1) tablet daily, preferably with a meal or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.
